For entrance examination, there is no prescribed syllabus or books.

Download old question papers and solve them using internet or other reliable books. You can always use YouTube to find solutions and tricks. Solve as many papers as you can to understand the pattern.

Eligibility for MA programmes in JNU requires a candidate to have completed Bachelors degree in any stream under the pattern of 10+2+3 and must have obtained minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam.So, you have to make sure that you must have cleared all your papers before sitting
