yes you can take an admission. But after diploma you have to do graduation in anyway. With out graduation you won't get placed in a official process. The basic requirement is graduation in respective branch which varies per job posts.

You can do but for placement you have to do graduation. University keeps test for screening and after that you will get an admission. So if you want to do then prepare well and look for a good career.

Admission for the PhD in English literature will be done on the basis of the performance in the entrance examination and viva-voice, both conducted by the university. NTA will release the JNU 2020 application form on March 02, 2020 in online mode.

According to your query, you can give the exam after you complete your 12th standard. After that if you pass in all subjects with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks from a recognized university. You can easily then give the entrance exam for jnu.

Since JNU is a National University, The mode of instructions for the course i.e., Teaching, Classes, etc. is English.

However, many attempts have been made to include Hindi as the mode of instruction but it has not been done yet.

To get admission in jnu for BA(lateral entry)  ,Firstly a candidate need to  register for application through online mode in the official link. Then a candidate should appear for both entrance exam as well as Viva.From which 70% weightage is given on the basis of entrance exam and remaing 30% to the viva ,organised by the university itself.
