Ph.D Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering at LPU Jalandhar Offline Course

Pass with 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC in the Master's Degree* (2 year or 4 semester Master’s Degree after a 3 year Bachelor’s Degree #) or equivalent in the relevant subject to qualifying LPUNEST and Interview.

# Candidate who has completed 1 year or 2 semester Master's Degree* after a 4 year or 8 semester Bachelor’s Degree is also eligible provided the candidate should have a minimum of 75% marks in 4 year or 8 semester Bachelor’s Degree in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.

*  in M.Sc. or MS (with Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Microbiology or Industrial Microbiology or Genetics or Molecular Biology or  Bioinformatics or Genetic Engineering or Botany or Zoology, Toxicology or other relevant branches of Life Sciences) or equivalent

(A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC or ST or OBC (non-creamy layer) or Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.)
