The infrastructure of my IIT is truly outstanding. The campus is spread about 525 acres in Ropar, Punjab, and is beautifully green and peaceful. We have a Lecture Hall complex along with the classrooms and seminal hall in every department. The library, auditorium, and labs are all modern and well equipped. The hostels are newly built with great facilities, and the campus also has a full sports complex with ground for cricket, football, basketball, hockey and more. Overall the campus feels modern, spacious, and extremely comfortable for students.

I'm currently perusing B-Tech in Computer Science and Engineering branch. Academics here are very good. The curriculum is updated and professors are very helpful and approachable. Teaching uses boards, PPTs and discussions making concept easier to understand. There are regular quizzes, midsems, and endsems, along with practical and real-life project work that help us apply what we learn.

The placement quality at my IIT is quite good. A large percentage of students from almost every branch get placed each year, especially in CSE where placements are very strong. Many well-known companies visit the campus offering good packages. The average package of CSE is approx. 22 LPA. The placement process is smooth and the Career Development and Placement Cell guides students at every step, from preparation to final offers.

Each semester costs around Rs.1,20,000 along with hostel and mess fees, and considering the quality of facilities, academics, hostels, sports and overall campus life, the fees feel completely worth it. The institute provides excellent resources, modern infrastructures and great opportunities, making it outstanding value for money.

Campus life at my IIT is peaceful and fun. The campus isn't crowded, with spots like SAB, Rose garden and many more. Clubs, DJ nights, and events keep evening lively and the campus is always safe to roam anytime.

Overall, my journey at this IIT has been truly memorable. From the supportive seniors and friendly campus culture to modern infrastructure and excellent academics, everything has contributed to a great college experience. The campus is calm, green, peaceful, and extremely safe, and full of opportunities for learning and growth. Clubs, fests, sports, and events make student live vibrant and enjoyable. I genuinely feel proud to be part of this institute.

IIT Ropar is one of the newest IITs in India. Infrastructure is very good and since it is new college is has all the modern state of art facilities available. Hostels are very good and are well equipped for comfortable lodging and boarding. Hostel rooms have water coolers installed.

I am pursuing Doctor of philosophy in biomedical Engineering with specialization in medicinal chemistry. Proffesors are very much supportive in research conduction work. Curriculum is not updated and contains old datas.

The overall placements from IIT Ropar is around 20 lakhs per annum. There is no relevant data available for Doctor of Philosophy placements from the same. The highest placements was of Rs. 50 lakhs per annum.

All the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments are there in our collage. There are separated department building are there. Wifi facilities is all over in the campus. Smart boards are also present in all the classes. Living spaces are also clean.

In our collage many courses are there like btech in Computer science, electrical, mechanical, civil, artificial intelligence, chemical. Mtech and phd are also available in our collage. Teaching quality is also very good.

Many students are placed from our collage. Many of the students are placed in sde section. Almost 80 percent students are placed in various companies. Average salary offered to the students is 20-22 lac per annum.

Our collage course fees are based on the family incomes of the students like if a student have family incomes less than 1 lac per annum then he have to pay 8000 per semester. If family income is greater than 8 lac per annum then he have to pay full institute fee.

Campus of IIT Ropar is very beautiful. Here all the facilities are good. Many gardens are there is in collage. Sports complex is also have maany facilities. Stationary, canteen and medical shops facilities are good.

The college has good infrastructure and has almost all the facilities and equipment. Nearly all places have wifi facilities and all the necessary things and they are well-maintained. almost every part of the college is clean.

I am currently pursuing btech here. Teaching is good as compared to other colleges here teacher to student ratio is good. The curriculum is updated and includes nearly all developments. for the job, one has to learn many more skills.

Placement is decent and the average package is above 15 lakh for btech. more than 80 per cent of students were placed. Mostly the highest packages are offered in the cs department. The placement process is not so easy.

Cost depends on your annual income. Hostel charges are less if compared to other colleges.

Campus life is good but there is only one mess in the whole campus which sometimes creates chaos and students do almost every activity. Here campus location is safe.

Infrastructure is very good. It's permanent campus has newly built hostels, library and sport centres. The area of campus is also very large and does have all the necessary facilities and equipments .

I am studing computer science and the quality of teaching here is decent. Just like any other engineering college some professors are really good and some are bad, moreover you get a healthy competition from your peers which will definitely push you to give your best.

The placement scenario is very good in computer science department and decent in other branches. The average salary offered this year was around 15 lac per annum and is steadily increasing over years. More than 90% of students were placed this year.

Yes,my university iit ropar has all nescessary infrastructure,equipments and facilities.the facilities that provided by departments for library are very good.iit ropar is a new build campus.iit ropar best campus in punjab.

I am pursuing b.tech at civil engineering department in iit ropar.faculties are very good and supportive.they have well qualified and they have good technical skill.they keep updating student with new technologies.

Iit ropar placement is not so good because iit ropar is a new iit.highest placement in 2019-20 session is 40 lac and average package is around 5 lac.placement percentage is 70 .flipkart,amzon company comes for interview.

The course have value of money because faculty and there way to teach is very good.iit ropar provides all thing for self development.iit ropar have high fee for general,obc category student who have income greater then 8 lac,it is around 3 lac.

Iit ropar have a very big,good campus.it is situated in rupnagar.college campus have all facilities sports,medical,gym,sports complex.college is far from city.college organise fest every year for enjoyment.

it is nice, well equipped labs. Wifi speed is great reaching upto 700 Mbps. Smart boards are available in the class as well. Food though has issues right now, but it will good pretty soon. Cleaning is done often.

Teachers are pretty qualified. Some have an experience of 20 plus years. Our college is best in research, which proves the substantiality of teaching over here. Curriculum us pretty amazing which prepares you for the industry.

Placements are decent with 16 LPA average package. You have a assured career after getting here. Alumni network is quite strong which gives you an addon benifit. Most placements are done in campus only.

Nothing much.

It has good infrastructure and labs. Library, auditorium are still under construction. Sports facilities are not of the level you expect from an IIT. Hostels are equipped with wifi and are cleaned on the daily basis unlike some IITs where you have to clean your rooms yourself. In mess hygiene is good but dont expect anything in terms of taste.

I am studying CSE due to interest in the field. Curriculum was updated in 2017. Computer Science faculties are good. Core courses here are less compared to old IITs. You have option to take electives from second year onwards (from last year only before you could take it from third year) So that can benefit. You can also do a minor in other branch.

Placements are good for computer science and electrical branch. For other branches only a few batches have passed till now but the college is improving constantly in terms of non core and finance related placement.

College life is not that good. Ropar is not a big city life. So you will definitely miss city perks. Fests are developing and are not of level of old IITs. There are lot of clubs you can engage in. As strength of college is less, there are not many people in clubs that is an advantage but they are also not very developed For movies and fun you can go to chandigarh but it takes atleast one and a half hour from campus.

It has all required infrastructure . It has an administrative building. Along with that it has seperate building for each department. Fully air conditioned buildings well Equipped with high speed wifi. Newly build hostels maintained properly and hygiene is maintained in mess food

I'm persuing mechanical engineering in IIT ROPAR and quality of teaching is very good which is solely based on real life application and curriculum is hectic and Upto date so that one can be ready for our future responsibilities

Placement standards of our college is above average. Being an hour distance from Chandigarh our college is in prime location for various companies to visit us. There is sperate training and placement cell which has equal contribution from professors and students

Being a general category student I have to pay approximately 1.25 lack rupee per semester and I think it is of worth because we have been provided facilities according to that whether it would sports facilities or other cultures or technical activities other than the academics

Campus Life is quite good. Our campus has been situated in nearly 900acres. We have to carry cycles with us for the day to day curriculum and being on the outskirts of Sutlej river there is an alluring environment almost all of the time and there are various fest's that are culture fest, Technical fest, Sports fest, in which along with various colleges boys and girls various celebrities are also invited like last time Zakir Khan and Diljit Dosanjh were invited in celebs nights

There are various clubs are also here whether it would be technical or cultural which solely are present for the skills and extracurricular of the student so that there is the holistic development of the students and there is also good opportunities for the one who wanted to start there own business, there is E-cell that provides you fully verified investments for startups

U get all the facilities over here except some in the main campus but these are available in its transit campus and also the campus is working on it . It has good sports facilities and labs are also good except some which are under construction.

U get good support from professor . Professor have personal TAs who help them to solve all the problems if still their is a problem or any confussion profs are ready to help . The academic part is therefore good.

As it is 2nd gen iit its placements are quite okk but not as that of old iits . But to improve this the head of department of placement is working very hard to solve the problem of placement . But as compare to other iits it is quite satisfying .
