36 MonthsThe Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology at MIT Art, Design and Technology University, Pune is a research-intensive doctoral program designed to advance the scientific study of human behavior, mental processes, and psychological applications across diverse contexts. This program provides scholars with an opportunity to engage in original, independent, and interdisciplinary research contributing to theoretical understanding and practical innovations in the domains of mental health, organizational behavior, education, neuropsychology, digital mental health, and Indian knowledge systems of psychology.
A Master's degree in Psychology or Allied Disciplines with at least 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade on a 10-point scale. Candidates with an M.Phil. in Psychology or equivalent research degree are eligible. Candidates with a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related discipline with 75% or more marks are eligible for direct entry. Professionals with a minimum of 15 years of experience in mental health, education, corporate sector, or allied professions with a 4-year undergraduate degree (minimum 55%) may be considered for direct Ph.D. admission under the Professional Track.
