The NIMHANS exam is conducted for two days for PG test and for one days for UG.This is done for the convinence of the applicants so that the best possible examination city as per there preference could be alloted to them and there is not much hassle.

NIMHANS Entrance Exam 2020 – National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences has released the application form for UG and PG online entrance exam for Session II. Registered candidates can get their admit cards by entering Registration No and Password under login Portal. NIMHANS Entrance Exam is conducted at the national level exam for admission in Ph.D, super-specialty, postgraduate medical courses, post-non-medical courses, and undergraduate courses. It is held twice a year.


NIMHANS 2020 Entrance Exam Pattern

Entrance examination is conducted through online mode and it contains of multiple choice objective type questions (MCQ) which a candidate should needs to solve in a duration of 90 minutes.


There will be 100 MCQ type questions. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for an incorrect answer.


Mode of Exam – Online mode.

Type of Questions – Multiple Choice Questions.

Duration of Exam – 90 min.

Negative Marks – 0.25 will be deducted for wrong answer and no marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.

I hope you ate doing well, about your question, the Entrance Exams for Session I PG-Medical & Non-Medical, DM Courses  will be conducted on 6th December 2020.


For session 2 the forms are available till now I.e. 14 nov 2020, the registration forms will close off by 20 NOVEMBER 2020 there is till time apply to the earliest.

Nimhans Mph exam happens twice in a year.
Once in october and once in March.

Nimhans is national institute of mental health and neurosciences.

They are the central institution in india
For exam in october the forms released in August or September
For exam in March the forms are released in Jan or February.

Syllabus for mph in nimhans

1.principles and practice of public health
2.epidemology
3.biostatistics
4.national health programs
5.substance use and neurological disorders related to public health
6.concepts of health and disease.

The exam is MCQ pattern and it has negative marking
+1 for every correct answer and -0.25 for wrong answer

Actually as per the new education policy, philosophy courses would not be happening in the colleges now. Philosophy is not a stream now.

You should choose some another course for yourself for a better career ahead.

You could go for MA in clinical psychology or as well go for a diploma course in clinical psychology.
