Amity University | B.Sc Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings)
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
In terms of placements, both colleges are excellent.
The typical placement fee at New Horizon College of Engineering is Rs. 3.6 lakh.
In the Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, postings typically range from 4 to 5 lakh rupees.
Bangalore, Karnataka's Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT) is an independent engineering school. The institution was founded in 2001 and is recognised by the AICTE, New Delhi. There are several reputable employers, such nutanix (18 lpa), dell (8 lpa), accolite (8 lpa), unisys (6.5 lpa), and mass hiring firms like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys, who offer compensation packages between 3.6 and 5 lpa. Every year, the campus is visited by more than 40 companies. A minimum placement of 80% and a maximum placement of 100% are possible in CSE. The placements are acceptable enough.
Bangalore is home to the independent New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE). It was started in 2001, and Visvesvaraya Technological University is connected to it (VTU). The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has granted the College approval, and the NAAC has awarded the institution a Grade "A" accreditation.
Many businesses are visiting the school to recruit students, including TCE, WIPRO, IQVIA, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, INTEL, and Phonepe. The highest income provided was around 20 LPA in the year 2020, and the average pay in the computer science branch is between 4 and 5 LPA. The highest percentage of students from the computer science branch get placed in college.
Consequently, in light of the location and NIRF ranking
I hope this helps.
Good Luck
According to me, you could prefer either of New horizon vs nitte meenakshi.

As a student, you should give foremost importance to the level of education provided by any university or institute because ultimately, that will help you to hone your skills and also, it will help you learn new and different things. You should go thoroughly through the courses available and the curriculum and then decide for yourself. I’d like to say both universities are good but if you are asking about the better college, I would say it’s REVA University and I have a few points to support my statement as well.
The faculty members at REVA University are amazing! They are highly experienced and they give equal emphasis on theoretical and practical knowledge. They share their life experiences and create a friendly atmosphere within the campus. We can learn a lot of them apart from theoretical or practical knowledge.
Only theoretical knowledge won’t be enough; practical knowledge is a must and keeping this point in mind, REVA University has designed its courses. A student spends their valuable time in these labs and they learn in an in-depth manner by receiving the best hands-on learning and experiential-based education to enhance their industry-relevant skills.
Students at REVA University have freedom beyond classroom sessions. They can dedicate some of their time polishing their extra-curricular skills. With more than 100 clubs and student organizations in numerous domains, the students are bound to find something of their interest.
But in the end, you’ll have to decide for yourself. All the best

All the best!!!
Dear aspirant,
The salary which will you get after passing your b.tech totally depends upon you as you need to develop your skill set like that to achieve such a package you are expecting. And in these type of private colleges you need to be focused and sincerely study to achieve your goals.
Otherwise you would land up in bulk hiring companies such as tcs, wipro, infosys, Accenture and few others and you would get a salary of 25-30k per month.
Hi,
Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering is the best between the two in all aspects. They have a very good infrastructure, a lot of greenery. All basic facilities are available here. The hostels are good and the mess food is also tasty and fresh. There are sports facilities available here. The faculty is also good. Teachers are very experienced and qualified and also very supportive. When it comes to placements,80% of the students get placed in top companies. The highest salary package offered is 33 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
I hope this helps,
All the best
Hi, the preference to colleges is totally your choice. It is recommended that you add some colleges as your priority that are one of the best colleges in your area. You can also try for PES University, NHCE Bangalore, Jain University, etc. These colleges can be added as your first preference and then you can go on with your institutes that you have chosen. Hope this helps.
NITTE is autonomous and MVIT is non autonomous. But to be frank both are equally good placement are almost same but in NITTE you will get lots of international offer compared to MVIT but overall both colleges are neck to neck. Important fact is that in NITTE chances of getting offended by the institution and seniors are indeed rare. One more add up is that what ever matter relating to ones will be informed to their parents for sure.
This comes with some advantages as well.Since all the students follow same syllabus, exam, evaluation the standard benchmarks are set unlike autonomous colleges where each colleges have their own syllabus, exams and valuation.
An advantage of autonomous college is that some colleges have supplementary examinations if you fail in the regular exams and can pass in those supplementary exams,at VTU you have to wait for the six months and have to give your failed exams along with the regular exams which become difficult and sometimes you will have 2 exams on the same day.
hiii ,
according to me dayanand sagar college would be a better choice , but you can do your own reaseach and then join the college .
