The School of Computer Science and Applications at REVA UNIVERSITY offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA), a postgraduate program to create motivated, innovative, creative and thinking graduates to fill the roles of software Engineers who can conceptualize, design, analyze and develop computer software to meet the modern-day industry requirements.

The program is designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Computer Applications. The MCA program is inclined more toward application development and thus has more emphasis on the latest programming languages and tools to develop better and faster applications. It covers various aspects of computational theory, network and database management, mobile technologies, electronics, mathematics, probability, statistics etc. The program also deals with operation research, user interface design, M-commerce, e-commerce, internet of things, mobile computing, software testing and quality assurance, big data analytics, and many such areas intended to meet IT industry requirements.

The career opportunities for Master of Computer Applications graduates are plenty and growing. Programming and software development, information systems operation and management, telecommunications and networking, computer science research, web and Internet, graphics and multimedia, training and support, and computer industry specialists are some of the opportunities the graduates find.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree, OR Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University). Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

College Infrastructure

The campus is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed with spacious classrooms, advanced laboratories, a well-stocked library, sports facilities, and comfortable study spaces that create a productive atmosphere.

Facilities okay, people nice but vibe feels dull.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is decent but not exceptional. Classrooms are adequately sized and functional, though some need minor maintenance. The library has a good collection of books, but digital resources are limited. Labs are well-equipped for basic experiments, yet advanced facilities are not present. The campus is clean, and outdoor spaces provide a pleasant environment, but recreational areas are somewhat limited. Overall, the infrastructure supports learning adequately but leaves room for upgrades and modernization.
