I would say try securing B.Tech in Biotechnology from VIT as your first preference, followed by B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Manipal University. Manipal and VIT are two of the best private institutions having strong faculty, infrastructure and research facilities. Incase you arent able to make into one of them try securing B.Tech in Biotechnology from SRMIST or B.Sc. in Biotech from Amritaa.

Biotechnology in india to be honest with doesn't have scope in india much . Unless you do from some specific renowned colleges for biotechnology . But if I had to choose one you should go with srm University as it has atleast a brand name whereas as the other one doesn't

As far as placements are concerned, most of the students opt for Non Core Placements and Mass recruitments with companies like HCL,TCS, Infosys, Cognizant landing at an average package anywhere between 3-6 LPA. As far as Core Placements are concerned, you have couple of companies like Tata Advanced Systems and Honeywell visiting the campus on rare occasions. Many students prepare for ecaminations like GATE and move on to higher technical institutes like Top IITs, IISc as well as Institutions like IIST Trivandrum for a Masters in Aerospace Engineering. Off campus recruitments are an option being located near Chennai and nearby Bangalore, which serve as Hubs of Aerospace Companies like Airbus, Honeywell Aerospace, Boeing as well as Public Sector Companies and Institutions  like ISRO, HAL and DRDO.

I don't think it would create a hell of a difference in if you choose any one of the university plus on the other hand it is too costly to study there. You can choose any of the two because in terms of brand name both has and same in case of infrastructure.

Both these colleges are pretty much average in biotechnology branch so I genuinely don't think it would make a hell of a difference. But if to choose one I would go with the integrated msc course as that would be all together a better thing to do for placements.

If we compare both university SRM University is better than Amrita University for biotechnology. Placements of SRM is better than Amrita University. Faculty of SRM is quite better than Amrita University. Faculty are helping in nature, they are well- experienced. Campus life of SRM University is Good. SRM is very friendly in nature. Infrastructure of SRM University is Good.

• Vellore Institute of Technology will conduct the VITEEE 2021 as a remote-proctored exam on May 28, 29 and 31.
• SRMJEEE 2021 phase 1 exam on May 23 & 24 and phase 2 on July 25 & 26.
• The JEE exam is postponed and the dates are not yet announced. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information.
• COMEDK UGET 2021 exam to be held on June 20, 2021. The authorities will conduct the COMEDK exam 2021 in online mode.

I hope you are doing good. As per your query, I would like to inform you that in SRM is best university in comparison to sastra ,anna . SRM has 101 qs ranking and  number 1 in private engineering colleges of india . The infrastructure of srm is very good and clean , labs have all the euipments with the requirement . Several fests like technical ,drama took place every year . The placement scenario is also very good , highest package went upto 22 lakhs last year. More than 70 percent students got placed every year
