The annual Tution Fee for PhD in Physics at SRM Kattangkulathur is Rs. 1,31,250. All full time Ph.D students are given a stipend of Rs. 8000 per month. Hostel depends on the faculty you choose. For A/C room fee is different and for Non - A/C room the fee is different and for number of sharing the room also fee is different.

• A/C with attached Washroom - 2 Sharing:- Rs. 1,80,000
• Non A/C with attached Washroom - 2 Sharing:- Rs. 85,000
• Non A/C – with Washroom 2, 3 & 4 Sharing:- Rs. 56,500

since you have future plan to go for research and higher study I would recommend to go for b.sc+ m.sc course in biotechnology. biotechnology is an interdisciplinary stream and past 1 year it has major role in research about vaccines, making drugs , selecting virus and bacteria's. In future the profession would earn a surge of demand in health science related Industry. however b.tech course is more technical oriented and do phd after b.tech you have to do m.tech, which would take 2 years. so it is best to go for bsc + msc course in biotechnology and after that you may apply for ms course in abroad.

Yes, SRM University provides scholarships on the basis of SRMJEE. The amount of scholarship you will get depends directly on the rank that you secure in that. The  first phase of exam will be held on 23rd and 24th May while the second phase examination will be held on 25th to 26th May. The last date to apply for the same is 15th May.

Yes you can definately write more than one times.If a candidate is not satisfied with the rank in first part of the exam then he/she can definately apply for the second round of the exam. SRMJEEE 2021 phase-I will be conducted on May 23 and 24 while phase-II will be conducted on July 25 and 26.These are the dates for the exams and a mock exam will be conducted too for the acquintances with the process to the students.

Incase you are very sure of a career in Biotechnology, you might pursue B.Tech or BSc+Msc in Biotechnology from VIT followed by a MS/PhD from some of the Excellent Universities abroad or in India like Top IITs, IISc Bangalore and many others.

VIT University has much better faculty, infrastructure as well as training and research facilities. Besides VIT, Manipal University is another good place for education and research in Biotechnology.

Yes, you can do Masters in abroad after completion of B.Tech Biotechnology from SRM University. The criteria is that you should complete your Undergraduation from any stream from any recognised College to get MS seat in abroad. SRM University is one of the best Universities in Tamil Nadu. B. BSc + MSc biotechnology is a 5 year integrated course. BTech degree is better than BSc + MSC. the BSc + MSc degree is more research oriented and makes you eligible for science researchers. If you have more interest in Research than You can Go through with BSC+MSc. Btech is for design and Shape of your Technical Approach. Both Colleges are best Private Colleges. Placements and Campus life of Both Colleges are Great.

Btech Biotechnology in SRM University is a better option.The placement of Biotechnology in SRM University is quite high around 95 percentage by renowned companies including IT firms like Capegmini,TCS,IBM etc and also in medicinal firms like Dettol,Mankind,Wildstone etc.The infrastructure and faculty is quite good here and also the curricullum and the campus life is quite good here.
