As you mentioned that you want me to order these courses and colleges in ranks. So , I would consider these factors which includes placements infrastructure faculty which will decide my ranking.

Here is my ranking-

1- BTech Srm University

2- Bsc manipal University

3- bsc amrita University

4-sathyabama university

As per my views I would judge these colleges on the basis of few factors which includes placements, infrastructure, faculty.

So, I would suggest you do BTech from srm University as the placement scenario is better here with the faculty staff. The infrastructure is also very good. All facilities will be provided here. Same goes for bsc manipal.

As you mentioned your son has done schooling from India and you all have been residing for 14 years . So you need not worry your son is eligible for the general category.

Coming to the fees of the colleges you mentioned-

VIT vellore- It has five categories and accordingly the fees increases. The first category total fees including hostel would be somewhat between 15L . The 2nd category has  almost 18-19L.

Srm - It too has same fees as vit vellore 2nd category.

Nits- These are government institutions and if of national importance. It has fees approximately 8L . But it is more less due to fee remission provided by the institutes bases on family income.

I hope you are doing  good . As per your query, I would like to inform you that if we compare Vellor campus of vit and srm , VIT will be better in every aspect. Vit vellore has highly developed infrastructure with full wifi and non smoking campus. The crowd of  the college is very hardworking,sincere due to quality teaching which is given by highly qualified faculties.  Various numbers of fests and event take place for the students to do some innovative things besides studies. Many companies comes every year to offer placement and around 90 percent students got placed with average placement of 6lakhs

The schedule for slot booking for SRMJEEE 2021 which is going to be conducted on May 20, 2021 and May 21, 2021 is not yet announced. The last date to apply for SRMJEEE 2021 Phase 1 is May 15, 2021 so the slot booking might start after May 15, 2021 but you need to wait for official announcement and then book slot within the stipulated time. Until then keep an eye on updates regularly so that you won't miss any important information.

BSc Biotechnology in Amrita University is better than BTech Biotechnology in SRM University is good for research. BSc Biotechnology in Amrita University has good Scope for research. Amrita University has good placements than SRM University. Amrita University has good infrastructure, Facilities of Amrita University is good. faculty are well - experienced and friendly in nature.

If you want to go for acitve research then BSc+MSc Biotechnology will be the best option for you. You will get good theoretical as well as practical approaches which will definitely help you in your research career.

BTech Biotechnology have more Industrial options than that of BSc Biotechnology. So if you can get the BTech Biotechnology then just go for it. Also SRM is better than Manipal as per the reviews online and also from my personal opinion. So if you can BTech Biotechnology at SRM will be a great choice for you.
