vellore institute of technology and srm institute of technology both are prominent institute in south india, so if you choose either of this you will get a well infrastructure, experienced faculty , excellent placement, however I will keep ahead vit first because of their highest placement package in campus.

For your kind information SRM and VIT are same level colleges approximately but Ramaiya is a little lower ranked.

But in terms of placement infrastructure and packages if we have to choose one then I will better go with VIT Chennai.

As per your son's category and percentile in CAT and also considering all the academic records mentioned in the query he has quite less chances to get seat in top IIMs such as IIM A/B/C and so on but still he can get some Baby IIMs ,IITs

SRM is better than IPU top colleges like MAIT,BVCOE,MSIT, for CSE branch of study.

The campus life and all the facilities is available for the student  isof high quality  and it is better than IPU colleges. Placement rate is higher than
