Hey!
Firstly, Both SRM and KIIT are Deemed universities. So if you are getting both the colleges then congratulations.
Now, both the colleges are reputed colleges and are considered as top colleges after your Iits and Nits.
Though, KIIT is a bit underrated and I dont know why so. Infact I think that Academically as well as faculties also are better than SRM. Curriculum of KIIT is updated in comparison with SRMs curriculum.
Campus of SRM is slightly better than that of KIIT. And Placements record of both the colleges are excellent. KIIT has improved alot in placements and around 85-90% students are getting placed. Same goes with SRM.
If you are getting into CS or IT then there is good scope of getting placed in a good company. If you are hard working and ambitious then that's all you need to get a Good company with average or highest package which is likely to rise upto 20-22 lacs p.a.
Placement cells are of great help. They will prepare you for interview. And they will Also provide internships.
Both the colleges have almost equal status. I still prefer KIIT over SRM. but it's totally upto you. Your hard work and dedication towards your goals is of utmost importance. Good Academic performance is what you need to lead a successful life. So, both the colleges are good and both have their pros and cons but if you are willing to concentrate on your life goals and ambitions then nothing can stop you from moving forward.
All the best!

hello aspirant,
both VIT and SRM are the top private institutes for persuing BTech degree in INDIA.
the main branches of both the colleges are highly reputed and have good academics, campus and placements as well. now, talking about the ap campus , SRM ap will overtake in vit ap in terms of academics but the college was established just a few years ago therefore it does not have good chanches for placements, the students may have to visit main campus for the placements, keeping all these things in mind about the srm campus, it is preferredto choose vit AP campus.
hope that helps
Hey!
Msc Chemistry or Master of science in Chemistry is a post graduate course for 2 years. it deals with chemistry as a major subject and allows you to specialize in a special field of chemistry. also, it has wider range of scope in research based industries.
Now, Sharda university as well as SRM, chennai are quite suitable for this course. it's all upto your Academic performance and dedication towards your course which will help you in getting good placement.
Faculties of both the colleges are very good. mostly teachers are phd holders and are helpful and knowledgeable. also, course curriculum is also updated but at some places it needs little bit of upgradation. otherwise, it's good in both the colleges, teachers are always ready to help students and their teaching methods are also different and interesting.
Placement records of both the colleges are also outstanding. but when it comes to Msc in chemistry then your knowledge, hard work and academic performance is what matters the most. not many companies visit for placement but hopefully more and more companies will start visiting in coming years.
In Sharda university, they do not provide for internship and even if they do then that's unpaid. over 75-80% students get placed in msc chemistry and average salary package they get is somewhere around 15,000-25,000 per month.
In SRM , overall placement record is excellent but in msc chemistry it's all upto you. Academically, they will help you in understanding the concepts clearly but when it comes to placement then till now a few companies visit for placement but it will surely increase in coming years.
Otherwise, Both the universities are brilliant when it comes to infrastructure, Academic assistance and everything. and if you are a hard working student then placement is definitely not an issue because you can easily get a good job or do research or whatever suits you after you are done with your course.
so, you can choose any of these colleges, both are good. just see which one suits you the most.
All the best!
Hi Ajay,
I understand that you are facing difficulties while filling out the form for online cancellation for your candidature at SRM University and so to answer your question, there is a slight possibility of some network related error due to which you might not be able to access some tabs or sections of the online cancellation form and in that case I would advise you to logout and try applying for the online application once again afresh.
If the above isn't the case then you need to contact the management of SRM University over mail while clearly stating your issue with screenshots for better reciprocation and request them to correct this discrepancy at the earliest so that you can complete your cancellation mechanism.
Regarding the four spaces in the cancellation panel, you need to mention the mode through which you wish to receive your refund amount.
BEST WISHES!
Hello there, if you have got admission offer then you should surly go with SRM. Because VIT Bhopal is new and the placement records are not know. VIT Bhopal is a new campus so don't expect it's placement as VIT Vellore. Whereas SRM KTR is a main campus has better placement.
But for good health ang good education you should join the place were you feel internally happy.
Good luck !!
The college infrastructure is very nice and as expected because as we know the SRM college is one of the top private colleges of India which shows it's value. The campus is very clean & green which makes it even better.
The college infrastructure I'll say its average because it's very far from Chennai city which is around 40-45 kms away. The buildings have very less lifts as per the total number of students they have.
The infrastructure of the college is outstanding. The WiFi is very fast in terms of speed and the campus area is very very aesthetic. The hospital inside the campus is very nice and consist of every possible thing that patient needs
