You should choose KIIT. KIIT is the most student-friendly university. It provides the best facilities. There are many companies that come for different branches. Cs/It, Electronics students have many opportunities than other branches but You should choose the branch that interest you.If you are good then there are opportunities everywhere. Many societies are there for extracurricular activities.

Now I will tell you what are the advantages and disadvantages of SRM :

Advantages :

• Kiit has small batch size.
• The facilities are friendly and help students in every possible way.Kiit is located in Orrisa. Here you can find food from every part of India.
• The hostel food is much better than other universities.
• Every private university have students who come through donatation but here the number is way less than SRM.
• The fees is less compared to SRM.

Disadvantages:

• The infrastructure is not that great Compared to SRM.
• Kiit has started a few new branches like aerospace engineering while SRM had earlier.
• SRM has large alumni as it was founded much earlier.

Well, whichever university you choose it is up to the individual to perform and master the skills.

Since you are being called for counseling,their firstly your documents will be verified and after that process is done after that merit list will be displayed after some days which will tells about all the students getting the seat and what will be scenario for next round of counseling.

Hello there. Since during the admission process the counseling will take place during which your documents will be verified where it might cause problem for you. But since SRM is a private college it might not cause that much problem as you can talk with them and get the problem sorted.

Btech - 348000 ( 4 years )

B.E.    - 368000( 4 years )

Manipal Engineering is not world class, but

it does the job and the placement scene is

pretty good here.

SRM is a better engineering college with

respect to academics only. They also have

some good international tie ups

But choose Manipal over SRM for the

following reasons:

1. Manipal is intercultural people will be

from all over India. You will learn a lot about

the whole country and the language, the

ideologies, the beliefs and faiths of Indian

population. Whereas SRM being in Chennai

is heavily conservative due to its location.

Chennai does not foster such a rich culture

and people just use the local language

heavily. The mindset too is conservative

there whereas in Manipal it is free.

2. University town - Manipal is a self

sufficient university town. Which means the

whole campus, all roads everything can be

accessed SAFELY at any time. There is very

less traffic and access to all facilities are

within walking distance. It is like a city

without the hustle bustle.

There are a lot of opportunities to tap into in

Manipal too if you keep your ears and eyes

open

You have to choose between:

1. Okay acads vs freedom and great,

satisfactory life skills at Manipal

2. Good acads vs restricted life at SRM.
