Admission for 85% of the total seats will be done by G.B. Technical University through Entrance Examination. (UPSEE - 2011). Rest 15% seats will be filled by the management of the college on the basis of merit and criteria decided by G.B. Technical University Lucknow.

BBA/BCA Course:-

Admission for 85% of the total seats will be done through the entrance test (LUMAT) conducted by Lucknow University and rest 15% seats will be filled by the management of the college on the basis of merit and specified Criteria by the Lucknow University.

With No Doubt - Thapar University.
First of all placements at Thapar University are much better than any campus of SRM.
Last year's Highest Package-23 Lakhs
This year's Highest Package-21 Lakhs
Also a company which offered 33 lakhs came to the campus this year but result has not been declared yet.
Average Package CSE -  7-8 Lakhs
Overall Average Package -  6-7 Lakhs

Also the latest syllabus is really awesome Not getting in much detail i will just mention that Student's are being taught C,C++ and Java in the first year itself.

First of all note that I am not an advertiser to the SRM University and its my own opinion on SRM. 

SRM University is one of the premium universities in India and it also gives you best competable education as that of the Nits. And it is a self sustained DEEMED University. So I think that It may worth money If really work and make  use of all facilties. Hope this helps. thank you

3. Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata - 'B+' Grade NAAC Accreditation

4. Bennet University, Greater Noida

The placements for this college is good but we cant say that it will be 100%. So you should be good in academics as well personality to get a good company. And in this college they will provide PD classes which you should take seriously. And for placements you should get admission in the main campus that is Kattankulathur because companies come to this campus to hire students. The SRM university is almost one of the top private university of India. The Bsc Catering and Hotel Management tution fee at the SRM Hotel Management is 96,260/- per year. And for MBA in Catering and Hotel management is 1,50,000/- per year. The hostel facility is provided to both boys and girls. The hostel fee is same for both boys and girls.
