No. They have their own entrance test called srmjee

Students have to register for the e-counselling using SRMJEEE application number and rank and participate in further admission process. The e-counselling is open for those candidates who missed the offline counselling. The offline counselling of SRMJEE 2019 was conducted on May 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 at the campus. Students were called for counselling on the basis of merit list. The result of SRMJEEE 2019 was announced on April 27. SRMJEE 2019 exam was held from April 15 to 25

Hii Sujeet. I went through the cut offs of SRM University and that too for all campuses. But, the maximum rank which admitted in that college was near to 70000. So, it is nearly impossible for you to get into with this CRL. There is a huge difference that exists.

For changing the college in first year it completely depends on college or university rules.Some university rules and some not.If any college allows then they must have certain percentage criteria of first year to get admission in that college in second year.For getting more information you should go through the college website .

I would suggest you to go for IIPE rather than SRM. If you manage to get petroleum then its best for you. I think you should once check the placement scenario of both the branches. In IIPE 100% placement with handsome package is expected. While SRM has a plus point of well established campus and other facilities.

But then i would say a central government institue of iit level will be better than any private institute. Definitely degree from Iipe will be more preferred over any other private college degree.

I would recommend Iipe rest is your interest and choice.
