As you mentioned your rank 29000 is not good rank but it's decent one. On this rank you have good chances to get some branches at chennai main campus. The branches are civil, chemical, software engg, electrical & electronics , electronic & communication, mechanical, mechatronics, biomedical, nanotechnology engg, etc . The date of counselling and venue with the documents which are to brought in counselling has been mailed by srm. So you need to attend counselling on that respective date.

I think you can't get any branch in SRM with this rank or if you can then you will have to pay 20 lakh fees for 4 years. 

If you are rady to pay this much fee then you can surely join SRM or else you can switch to KIIT. Please opt for CSE in these.
