Yes , if you are not able to go in the first counselling, you can go for the second counselling, if you have a good score and you were called in the first counselling.

Secondly, It may also depend on the college to college. So, Please info. the college about your situation too.

As per your rank mentioned(i.e 79000) you can apply for the very good semi private college BIT Mesra off campuses which are BIT Patna,BIT Deoghar,BIT Jaipur.Among these 3 extension centres best is the BIT Patna which also has a good placement records and medium rated professors.Also they have good optional streams and in 2nd year they also teach some good streams like french language(in BIT Patna) other campuses may teach other foreign languages.

Also guess what according to your rank you can get CSE in the best college BIT Patna.So i think this would a good oppurtunity for you.

Places don't matter.

If you are interested in CSE and you think you can score there, then you should go for it. But also, if your other options are better than you should consider it too. People always say something, if you are confident enough then go for it.

SRM ktr campus has many number of hostels available , like engineering and arts hostels , medical hostels .And aslo srm has normal and NRI hostels. The rules in each hostels differ. The answer to your question is that the normal engineering  hostels are in seperate compounds . where as one of the NRI hostel ,to be more specific , the hostel next to the university building has accomodation for boys and girls in the same building in seperate floors.

Yes, you are eligible for B. Tech biotechnology if you have given PCM srmjee. 

Those candidates who appeared for PCM srmjee are eligible for all B. Tech programs, while those who gave PCB srmjee are only eligible for B.Tech. Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering and Genetic engineering programs and also for relevant programs in Health Sciences (UG)
