No it never matters much but in some cases, they keep the eligibility of class 12 around 70 to 80 per cent in order to contain the number of the students. BUt after appearing for the interview the class 12 percentage plays a negligible role in deciding your selection.

You won't get admission to Chennai campus with less than 60% in 10+2.  You can also consider some other esteem colleges like: VIT, LPU, Amity University, BITS, Assam Don Bosco University, Ahmedabad University,Jaypee University of Information Technology, PES University, Techno Global University, Xavier University, NIIT University, Sikkim Manipal University.

You can choose any of them, the thing important is that you should get quality education and good placements which you will be getting in both the places. So it depends on you that which college you prefer.
