Is SRM a good college? I have seen horrid replies on Quora about SRM.

SRM University (Sri Ramaswami Memorial University) is a renowned private University in India that offers undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses and doctoral courses in various disciplines. The institute was established in the year 1985 as SRM Engineering College and was later given Deemed status in the academic year 2003-04, and the name of the institution was changed to SRM Institute of Science and Technology. In the year 2006, the institute gained the full-fledged University status by the Univesity Grants Commission under UGC Act, 1956.

The main campus of SRM University is Kattankulathur Campus, Chennai. There are other campuses of SRM University in India

Many big branded companies like AON, Accenture, Cognizant, BOSCH, IBM, HP and much more hire students from SRM University campus. According to the SRM Placement record, the average industry package is of around 5 LPA. The students can check the highest industry package offered.

What is the fee structure for bachelor of hotel management and culinary arts in SRM istitute., chennai

Hey, Vishal!
The SRM university provides a B.Sc Degree in Hotel and Catering Management. The fee is within the range of 70,000 INR to 95,000 INR for each year. Since it is a three years course, the total fee would be around 2,40,000 INR.
Apart from this, they also provide one and half year diploma course in Hotel Front office operation which costs 35,000 INR per year which results in a total of 52,500 INR for the entire course.

my Rank in SRM enterence exam is 9000, but i missed the cancelling, can i get another chance for concelling ?

Dear student,

Are u talking about counselling? If yes, then yeah u may get another chance. But in order to get that u may need to contact the college regarding this. When I missed my counselling in st.xavier college, I contacted their office and the faculties. They gave me another date. And voila, I got admitted.

In case of if we cannot attend first counselling in SRM. Is it possible to attend 2nd or 3rd counselling?

Yes , if you are not able to go in the first counselling, you can go for the second counselling, if you have a good score and you were called in the first counselling.

Secondly, It may also depend on the college to college. So, Please info. the college about your situation too.

The infrastructure of my college is amazingly good. The buildings are very well developed and the institution has taken care of development in all sectors. The WiFi connection, clean washrooms , clean water purifiers everything is well maintained.

The college infrastructure is pretty nice and the college is well develop.The college consist of many letter boxes from which you can write a letter and submit it for your future placement, dtdc or anything.

The infrastructure of my college is very aesthetic and wonderful. The campus is widely spread over a large area and each and every facility is provided by the college for the students. WiFi , lifts and every thing is availaible.
