Candidates can choose their preferred specialization/branch of study in a particular campus based on:

(a) Merit List based on Score obtained.

Maybe you could take up CSE at some of the Newer IIITs, like Vadodara, Guwahati, Pune, Surat and many others or maybe lower branches like Mechanical, Chemical, Metallugical in some of the Tier 2 NITs lile Jalandhar, Jamshedpur, Surat, Patna, MANIT, NIT Raipur, Durgapur, Kurukshetra and many others if possible at your Rank. These options will be better than either going to NIT Goa or SRMIST, considering the NIT Tag, Good Infrastructure, Faculty and Placements.

With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that SRM would be better option to persue bca as they have very good brand name and highly qualified faculities and coding culure is quite good due to sevral technical fests . I would advise you to go for mca after bca because only bca doesnt have much oppournities in IT sector bu after mca you get very good package in IT

The placement success rate of the students is 85%. The students get placed upto top salary packages of 3lakhs per annually.

See the placement cell in VIT CHENNAI is very much better compared to that of SRM. Thus if you want a better salary packages and a better chance to get in good corporate sector then I would recommend you to go for VIT instead of SRM.

VIT have a very well organized curriculum such that the curriculum provides adequate skills to work in industry as well as to pursue academia. Also the faculties are very well experienced and are active in research. VIT offers a very good rate of placement about 91%. Thus if you want  admission in CSE among this two then I would say its better to go for VIT CHENNAI. VIT have very good infrastructure which is really  good fact for science students.

You are not mentioned that about which depart you are asking for. But in general minimum the rank between 5k to 7k is enough good to get SRM with a good trade. But there is also reservation and management quota facilities so you can go for it also. To know elaborately please comment your exact doubts.

According to my experience and placement records of these colleges the order will PESIT>SRM>KIIT>UPES.

on the basis of NIRF(MHRD) ranking the order of these colleges will be SRM>KIIT>PESIT>UPES.

UPES is known for petroleum engineering. And remaining colleges known for placements .

All the mention colleges are one of the best private engineering college in India.

See SRM KTR is the main branch and is always given preference by the visiting companies. Although Amravati is very new and its hard to tell how the institute plans to place all their students, take for a fact that other branches of SRM (including NCR Campus) travels all the way to Chennai for major placements.

So, if you're getting both SRM KTR and AP, choose KTR, without any doubt.
