SRM University have six campuses located in kattankulathur, Ramapuram , Vadapalani, Amravati, Delhi -Ncr, and Sonipat Haryana. The tuition fees are different from all the campuses. SRM University is known for their main campus kattankulathur. The tuition fees for main campus is 2.5 lakh per year for all the branches. Specially for CSE it's 3.5 lakh in category B.

The total tution fees of SRM University is 10 lakh in category A and 14 lakh in category B. The hostel fees is 1.50 lakh per annum Total 6 lakhs is the hostel fees for 4 years. There are some more charges like semester examination fee, event fee, fest fee etc . So totally 18 lakh to 21 lakh have to spend for B.tech from SRM University kattankulathur.

As you have mentioned that you have secured 2.2k rank in srmjee phase 3 and taking into consideration that many of the seats in cse would have filled particularly in artificial intelligence but you may have chances for cyber security.

But you can hope for mainly electronics and communication branch. Let me tell you that due to the covid scenario the exact situation is very different from previous years and so anything can happen depending on the number of vacant seats in college, Previous years cut offs.

Trichy SRM colleges has total of 150 seats for MBBS. The total fees for 5.5years is around 57 lakhs.

According to previous years the closing rank of general category for Trichy SRM College has been as follows,

2539 in 2020

2537 in 2019

2270 in 2018

This cut off ranking varies from year to year depending on highest marks obtained, number of students, level of difficulty. So it's difficult to give exact marks or rank you need to get to secure your admission in Trichy SRM. Whenever you have to choose between courses then you should focus on the key factors of your interest. Now if you are interested in ECE then go for it or if you are interested in CSE then go for it. Now if you are confused and you want to study something which have better placements and more job opportunities then I would recommend you to go for CSE. CSE have better packages as well as lot of companies visit for the graduates. And the point is that most core field graduates also go for IT companies. So if you have to work in IT's at the later end then why shouldn't you learn it from the beginning. Now its your choice but as per me, I would recommend you to go for SRM AP cse.

SRM IST (Main Campus i.e. KTR) is best known for its campus life, infrastructure and placements. Therefore, what you have at hand is really good and it is definitely worth to join SRM in 2021. However, everything is relative i.e. depends on what other offers you have at hand. While SRM is a good college, there are definitely better colleges.

Hope you're doing well, and congratulations for your score in SRMJEEE.

SRM has launched their specialization courses in CSE very recently and it is therefore a bit difficult to state if you will get CSE WITH AI AND ML SPECILIZATION with the rank at hand. However, all that said, cutoff for CSE in SRM KTR goes around 10,000 and therefore I believe you definitely stand a great chance in getting your desired specialization.

Coming to your next question... SRM offers a 25% Merit Scholarship to all the candidates who achieved SRMJEE Rank between 2001 to 3000.
