First of all, the major difference between those two colleges is SRM Ramapuram campus is a Deemed University where as Rajalakshmi Engineering College is an Autonomous Institution affiliated to Anna University.

Admissions to Rajalakshmi Engineering College is through TNEA, where as SRM conducts separate entrance exams.

Both are well established institutions. But, SRM has a very good brand name in the society and provides world class education to the students. The main feature of SRM is worthful and amazing placements.

These above criterion are also satisfied by Rajalakshmi Engineering College. But, SRM is one step further than REC.

As per the norms of SRM institute of sciences and technology, the registration fee paid for the counseling i.e. rs10000 is not refundable and no requests regarding the matter would be entertained. Best of luck for the new journey.

Dear Student,

You can't chance the course or branch once you have completed your registration process whether you have submitted any fee or not, one thing you do is to withdraw from the seat so they will refund your money but they cannot change your course from other as you have participated for the particular course.

Other option is for you is that withdraw your seat within 15 days of admission so they refund your 100% money now you can take direct admission in another course, by the direct mode of admission they may ask you for the money in the name of donation.

As you have mentioned that you have applied the for the entrance of srm university and you have already filled it.

Now, as you are wanting to edit the application form so you will be allowed to edit only if any kind of discrepancy is found in your application.

So, you would be able to correct your mistakes .

In Amrita University the full academic fee will be refunded only after cutting the processing fee of INR 5000 f request for withdrawal is made up to September 14. And after that if you apply for withdrawal 10% of the academic fee will be deducted and the rest will be refunded.

Yes you can change your branch after completion of 1st year that is 2 semesters, only if you complete all the credits prescribed in first two semesters of your studies in your first attempt,without having had to pass any course requirement in the supplementary examination and your score of CGPA should not be less than 8.5,at the end of 2nd semester.

The prospect of CSE students of SRM University has a good placement. On the corner of the placement Amrita Vishwa vidyapeetham has good step a little bit of more bright prospect . Campusing for placement in Amrita Vishwa vidyapeetham core companies come to to select the candidates in less attractive streams of engineering courses student.

Educational environment, library, laboratory ,hostel security, and the friendly communication from the side of the faculty to the students is  a great facility to the students to grow more their learning and knowledge in their respective streams of study in Amrita Vishwa vidyapeetham. The weather of main campus Coimbatore Tamil Nadu of is very decent which is very helpful to the students to  take more attention on their studies. Da hostel disciplines or very systematic and the hostels are within the campus.

On the other hand student of SRM university enjoy is a little bit of more freedom in there campus life and student life. The placement of SRM University also good but some of the company core companies come to select the students of SRM University for job .
