72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy(Ph.D.) program in Speech and Hearing shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, University of Mysore, Mysore.
Eligibility Criteria
the candidates must have passed M.Sc. (Aud.) / M.Sc. (SLP) / M.Sc. (Sp. & Hg.) / MASLP / M.ASLP degree examination of the University of Mysore or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by the University of Mysore, with a minimum of 55% (50% in the case of SC/ST and candidatesfrom SAARC countries).
Admission Details
a) Candidates have to go through the entrance examination conducted by the University of Mysore for Speech & Hearing course. Exemption from entrance examination is as per University of Mysore regulations from time to time.
b) Candidates who have passed the University of Mysore Ph.D. entrance examination need to appear for an interview before a selection committee constituted for the purpose by the Director, AIISH, Mysuru. Based on the merit list and availability of slots, candidates are admitted to the program.
