36 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Speech Language Pathology is an offered Full-time three-year Doctoral program and it is offered by University of Mysore, Mysore. The Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years.
Eligibility Criteria
1) Candidates should have passed M.Ed. Spl.Ed (HI) degree examination of the University of Mysore or any other examination considered equivalent by the University of Mysore with a minimum of 55% (50% in the case of SC/ST) marks.
2) Candidates should have passed the entrance examination for Ph.D. conducted by the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore.
Admission Details
a) Candidates who have passed the AIISH Ph.D. entrance examination need to appear for an interview before a selection committee constituted for the purpose by the Director of the Institute. Based on the merit list and availability of seats, candidates are admitted as JRFs and External candidates to the Ph.D. program.
b) The candidates are governed by the rules and regulations of AIISH for the Fellowship program.
c) Both JRF / External candidates will have to undergo a 20-week coursework stipulated by the University of Mysore and pass the examination before they can get permanent registration for the Ph.D. program.
