AGC Amritsar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is the name of the boys hostel. The hostel is located inside the campus. It has 108 rooms and all the rooms have an attached washroom. Basic facilities like wifi, water coolers, social interaction rooms etc. are available for the students at the boys hostel.

Kalpana Chawla Hostel is the girls hostel of the college. The girls hostel is also located inside the campus premises. The hostel has 54 rooms with attached bathrooms. Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology hostel facilities include water cooler, wifi, gym, social interaction rooms etc.

A dispensary and a health centre has been build inside the campus. Free medical services can be availed by students and staff members. In case of emergency, the doctors are just one call away.  

To promote physical fitness of the students the institute has a well equipped gym available at the campus.

The library of the college is spread over an area of 625 square feet. With a collection of over 67,00 books, the library is centrally air conditioned and has wifi facilities for the students. A digital library with 22 computers and adequate e-material is also available for the students.

The institute has a total three playgrounds used for sports like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball etc. Every year the college organises sports tournaments at the campus. Various students of Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology have also participated in the inter-college tournaments.

Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology have systems with latest software and have rapid internet connectivity. All the labs are equipped with modern equipment.  

The institute offers transport facilities from college campus to the various areas of the city. Both drop and pick up services are offered to the students and faculty members.

ACET Amritsar has an alumni association that ensures alumni remain in touch with the college and for this alumni meet is conducted every year.  

The institute campus is wifi enabled and offers students and faculty members access to the internet at every part of the campus.

The college has specialized laboratories for a number of departments. The equipment in the laboratories are as per the demand and need of the course curriculum.

Photocopy stop, stationery shop etc. are there within the campus for students to use.  

The auditorium of the ACET Amritsar is a venue for various cultural and academic events conducted by faculty members and students.

A well maintained and hygienic canteen is located at the campus. The cost of the food served is reasonable and affordable.
