Ansar Women's College, Thrissur, is a top women's college in Kerala providing a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The NAAC-accredited college has a merit-based admission system and adheres to the course calendar of the affiliated university.

For UG admissions, students pursuing 10+2 from a recognized board are eligible to apply. The college takes into consideration the marks secured in the qualifying exam (12th standard) for admission into different UG courses. For PG admissions, applicants should have pursued their bachelor's degree in the respective field from a recognized university.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Com: Ansar Women's College provides B.Com courses with different specializations such as Computer Applications, Cooperation, Taxation, and Finance. The intake for B.Com courses is 166 seats. Admission is on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination (10+2) with emphasis on the concerned subjects.

B.Sc: B.Sc courses are offered by the college in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Psychology. The total intake capacity for B.Sc courses is 108 seats. The eligibility criteria are passing 10+2 with science subjects, and admission is based on merit.

BA: Two BA courses are available - English Language and Literature, and Mass Communication and Journalism. The total capacity for BA courses is 64 seats. Admission is done on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination, with a focus on language skills for the English course.

BBA and BCA: The college has BBA with 40 seats and BCA with 24 seats. The admissions in these programs are according to the merit list prepared on the basis of the scores in the qualifying examination.

M.Sc: Postgraduate courses in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Computer Science, and Physics are offered. Admission to M.Sc courses is on the basis of a relevant bachelor's degree, and the choice is generally on the basis of the graduation marks and/or entrance tests organized by the concerned university.

M.Com: The college provides an M.Com course with 12 seats. B.Com graduates are eligible to apply, and admission is on the basis of their undergraduate academic record.

MA: An MA in English is offered with 15 seats. Candidates with a BA in English or allied disciplines are eligible, and admission is on the basis of their undergraduate marks and any other criteria decided by the college or associated university.
