APA College of Arts and Science, Tirunelveli Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

A well-equipped library with adequate facilities and arrangements with standard reference books is open to the students from 09.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. standard journals, periodicals, and newspapers are available to inculcate the reading habits and enrich communication skills of the students. With the support of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Librarian, “Koha” software was updated in our library system. OPAC online public access catalog service is offered in our college library. The total area of the library is 1025 sq. ft. with spacious seating facilities for our students. INFLIBNET connection with the support of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University library is under construction. The purpose is to provide support for various researches and resources linkage for Students and Researchers.

APA College Hostel provides all comfortable accommodation facilities and an excellent vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian mess to out-station students. The Hostel fee Charged is very nominal and to help the needy. The mess fee is based on the dividing system. Our Hostel is “A Home Away from Home”.

The College has Every man should eat and enjoy the fruit of all his labor; it is the gift of God” The objective of the Canteen and meal service is to protect by reducing the risk of foodborne illness, with proper sanitary conditions and preventing adulterated food. The canteen is located inside the College. College canteen functions on all working days. Besides, they provide food at a very nominal price. The canteen and the surroundings are kept neat and clean.

The college campus is equipped with an in-house Gymnasium for all the Students. Both Physical and Mental Health play an important role in the well being of an Individual. The Gym provides an ideal atmosphere for the students for both sports enthusiasts and the health-conscious. Regular exercise can also boost your self-esteem and help you concentrate, sleep, look, and feel better. Students are encouraged to use the facility when on the campus during their spare time between classes.

The college have its own green playground, where regular sports & games such as Athletics, Kabaddi, volleyball, badminton, kho-kho, and cricket, etc are conducted from time to time. We have a facility for indoor games such as chess and carrom board.

A full-fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facilities to students and staff from various places. This service is offered to ensure hassle-free and safe transportation.
