Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere.

Eligibility Criteria

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates

The Candidate should be an Indian National:

Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology /Biology / Technical/Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.

The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should have obtained a non-zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates of Maharashtra State only)

All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates.

Similar to the conditions above, except JEE Main Paper I marks will be considered. Preference shall be given to the candidate who obtained a non-zero positive score in JEE (Main) Paper I over candidates who obtained a non-zero score in CET.

B.Tech. Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry)

The Candidate should be an Indian National;

Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in an appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from the All India Council for Technical Education or a Central or State Government-approved Institution or its equivalent:

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject: Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects.

Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate statutory authority.

Admission Details

All admission is through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. All seats are filled based on the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) and The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). BIT offers 51% seats for Hindi linguistic students (Students whose mothers are in Hindi)
