Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing is a four-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31 December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.
Candidate with Science who have passed the qualifying 12 Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only
English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
Colour blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
Candidate shall be medically fit.
Married candidates are also eligible for admission.
Students shall be admitted once in a year.

Admission Details

A Candidate desirous of seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing Programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as stated in point no. 2 above.
He/She must have appeared for the B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Test, conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune at designated centres.
The Candidate shall be offered admission on the basis of his/her rank in the final merit list and availability of the seats for a particular programme at a particular institute of the candidate's choice at the time of counseling and admission in the concerned institute.
In the case of candidates securing equal aggregate marks their relative rank will be determined on the basis of following order of preference:
a) First preference to the Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology in the entrance examination.
b) If equal the Candidates obtaining higher total marks in subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English in the 12th standard qualifying examination.
c) If equal, the candidates will be ranked according to their percentage of marks scored at SSC or its equivalent examination
d) When all the above scores are the same, the candidates will be ranked on the basis of computerized random numbering.
