BMS College of Law has a separate team of individuals who manages the placements activity within the college. Thus, because of the efforts of the placement team, as per the NIRF 2024 Report, BMS College of Law recorded minimal placement activity over the last few academic sessions for the 3-year LLB programme; In the BMSCL Bangalore placements 2023, 3 students from the 5-year programme were placed with a Bangalore median salary package of Rs 4.5 LPA. 

BMSCL Bangalore placements team not only collaborates with the Firms so as to land its students at attractive packages. But BMSCL Bangalore also offers support in resume building and interview training and connects students with potential recruiters in legal and corporate sectors. Apart from this, internships are also encouraged for every student throughout their academic journey to improve their professional capabilities and employability.

BMS College of Law Placement Process

• The BMSCL Bangalore placements cell assists students in securing internships and final job placements through outreach to law firms, companies, and advocates.

• The cell conducts resume building workshops, personality development and interview training and industry interaction sessions.

• Students must register with the placement cell and follow the eligibility and selection procedures set by participating organisations.

• Internships are mandatory during each year of study, which enhance hands-on legal exposure.

• The placement process includes scrutiny of applicants, shortlisting by organisations, and interview-based selections.

Note: Only those students are eligible for interview and placements who take part in pre placement training and attend important lectures.
