66 MonthsBachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a 5.5-year academic program containing the 4 and 1/2 year academic session and a one-year internship program degree offered by the Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush University, Gorakhpur, and approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).
The candidate shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and have obtained a minimum of fifty percent. marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, in the case of the general category, and forty percent.
The Admission shall be an entrance examination for all medical institutions at the undergraduate level, namely the National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test (NEET).
