CSET Kolkata: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Established in 2008, Camellia School of Engineering and Technology, Barasat, Kolkata, is an AICTE-approved engineering college. It sits on an 8 acres campus. Currently, there are 1,553 students here and 116 faculty members catering to the needs of students through 9 courses in engineering.

The campus is designed to impart a learning and development process among the students. It has well-equipped labs, computer lab with 60 PCs, central library with more than 23,000 books and 250 journals from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Separate hostels for boys and girls with modern amenities are available along with mess facilities for taking meals by the students. Transport for students is available through CSET with four buses run for different routes in Kolkata.

CSET has six B. Tech courses, one M. Tech program, and two Diploma courses in the engineering programs. The B. Tech and M. Tech program takes four years each, while the diploma courses take 3 years to qualify. A total of 521 students join the system through CSET admission each year. For B. Tech, there are 90 seats both in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering each as well as Electrical Engineering, with Electronics and Communication Engineering having 45 seats.

Your prime eligibility requirement for the B.Tech programs in CITM Hooghly would be good performance either in JEE Main or in the WBJEE. One of these two has to be cleared with a valid rank to admit you.
