Eligibility Criteria

To appear in the examination, candidates first need to know the eligibility criteria. The basic eligibility criteria to get admission into B. Tech programmes are mentioned here:

Candidate must have passed the Qualifying Examination i.e., the ‘10+2’ examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application /Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical/project wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode.
Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category, i.e., SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PWD) in the above three subjects taken together.
Must have passed English in the 12th standard (10+2) or its equivalent examination with at least 30% marks.
The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or the concerned State Government.

Admission Details

B.Tech: Admission Procedure

To get admission into undergraduate engineering courses in West Bengal, candidates will have to pass the national & state-level examinations. Candidates should apply for these exams separately.

On the basis of these exam scores, candidates will get admission to any of the institutions/colleges located in West Bengal. After qualifying for these examinations, candidates will have to appear in the counselling procedure.

College Infrastructure

Here infrastructure are good , all necessary things are available here. College provide free wifi . But I didn't find any smart board here. Foods are good and hygienic. Buildings are well maintained .
