Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Admission Process
Selection of the merit candidate will be based on the marks obtained in the Qualifying exam. The candidate who seeks admission under the management quota should qualify for the interview conducted by the management. The candidate should bring the entire document in original for verification. It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that the qualifying examination he/she has passed is recognized by the University of Kerala as eligible qualification for admission for BSc. Nursing Course. The candidate should produce a migration certificate if it is needed.
Eligibility Criteria
The Maximum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The maximum educational requirements shall be the passing of the Higher Secondary School Certificate examination (12 years course )
OR
Senior School Certificate Examination (10, +2), Pre Degree Examination (10, +2)
OR
An equivalent with 12 years of Schooling from a recognized board or University With Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Candidates, who have passed the Qualifying Examination from outside Kerala, should produce a recognition certificate and equivalency of qualify examination from the University of Kerala.
