College of Engineering Vadakara is one among the renowned college in Kozhikode Dist, high-quality Kerala. The mission of the college high-quality professionals who meet the need of today's corporate world. Well, the college provides the best schooling atmosphere for the students apart from busy town areas. The college is still a developing one which needs to improve in some areas which are very essential. The college is under the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme(TEQIP)scheme. As a part of this, a very good financial aid is received by the college every year. The college has a good infrastructure with fully equipped labs, workshops etc. It is blessed with a very good library containing almost all national and international journals. The authorities are very strict in the matter of discipline. The influence of politics and other such organisations are comparatively low. The college had also hosted several national workshops last year. There is an active student's association in IEEE, NSS etc.As a step to improve the quality of students various placement cells and expert talks are being conducted. The college hosts a technical fest named "QUASSO LIBERUM" annually.Various cultural programmes are also being conducted. From a student point of view, I think there are some areas where the college needs to improve a lot.The college still has only an average pass percent. The absence of Ph. D.D holders and experienced faculties are the main challenges of the college. The quality of the students should be improved more. Many students fail to perform well in placements. The students should be promoted to participate in various tech fests, seminars so that they will get a chance to compete with others and can improve in their weak areas. Every student should be considered as a professional rather than a student. Here the students are not well aware of the various opportunities around them. The lack of experienced lab technicians is also the main problem. Even though college own 10 buses transportation problem still exist. The college could not receive the National board Accreditation last year. This is again a major drawback. The hostel facilities are satisfactory.

Is there is any need of cet intarance exam for physiotherapy course after the 12th?

Anonymous 17th Aug, 2019

Hello Vaishnavi,

Admission in Physiotherapy, is mainly done on the basis of marks and rank in NEET.

If you have good score in NEET, then you can apply anywhere in whichever college you want.

Good luck

Hlo my icet rank is 28000 From Sc any chances for get cet in cbit for pgdm course

Tech. India Student Expert 31st Jul, 2019

Hi Gajjela,

Based on your score of  marks in TS ICET 2019, your rank will be somewhere around 18000-20000. It is highly unlikely for you to get a seat in Chaitanya Bharathi Inst Of Technology (CBIT) MBA as their cutoff for SC Boys as per past year records is around 3800 rank. However there are decent chances that you might get a seat in CBIT for MCA program as their cutoff for MCA SC Boys category is around 28000.

Hope this helps. All the best.
