      The College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Mizoram, is a renowned institution with specialisation in veterinary education and animal husbandry. The College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry admission process follows a very competitive admission process that differs with respect to the programme level. In undergraduate admissions, the College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry College mostly takes into account performance in competitive entrance exams organised by respective state governments.

      College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry also keeps 15% of the total seats reserved for candidates recommended by the Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi, through the All India Competitive Examination (A.I.C.E) for B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree programme admission. The College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry admissions process is on a merit basis in qualifying examinations and is available on an all-India basis. Preference is, however, given to North Eastern Hill region students. For 25% of the seats, nominations are made by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, based on the All India JRF/PG entrance test.

      The application procedure for the College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Mizoram, differs according to the course:

      For B.V.Sc and A.H:

      • Meet the state-level competitive entry test, or A.I.C.E., held by the Veterinary Council of India.
      • Apply to the concerned state department or the Veterinary Council of India, as the case may be.

      For M.V.Sc Programmes:

      • Fill up the application form with all supporting documents, such as certificates of graduation and scores in the entrance exams (if required).
      • Report for the selection process, which can be document verification or interviews.

      For Ph.D Programmes:

      • Apply for the doctoral course in the concerned specialisation.
      • Take the written entrance test organised by the college.
      • Appear for a personal interview if shortlisted.
      • Provide all documents necessary, like postgraduate degree certificates and research proposals.

      College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry Degree-wise Admission Process

      Candidates must qualify for the relevant entrance examinations and fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying. Selection is finalised after document verification, academic evaluation, and interview (if applicable).

      College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry B.V.Sc and A.H Admission Process

      College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry offers a B.V.Sc and A.H (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) programme.
      This is a six-year full-time course with an approved intake of 67 students. Admission is based on competitive entrance tests held by respective state departments. Fifteen per cent of the total seats are reserved for candidates nominated by the Veterinary Council of India through the A.I.C.E.

      College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry offers an M.V.Sc (Master of Veterinary Science) programme. The college provides M.V.Sc courses in diverse specialisations such as Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology, Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, Livestock Production and Management, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Veterinary Biochemistry, and Animal Genetics and Breeding. Admission is determined on the merit of students in qualifying exams, and 25% of the seats are filled through ICAR nominations based on the All India JRF/PG entrance examination.

      College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry Ph.D Admission Process

      College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry offers a Ph.D Programme. Doctoral courses are offered in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology, Animal Nutrition, and Veterinary Microbiology. The admission process for Ph.D courses includes a written entrance test (60 marks), academic score evaluation (20 marks), and personal interview (20 marks).
