Culinary Academy of India, Hyderabad Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

The Culinary Academy of India, Hyderabad (CAI) offers three main courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These courses are a bachelor's degree in catering technology (BCT), a Postgraduate diploma in culinary arts (PGDCA) and a craft certification course in food production. The duration of these courses is 3 years, 1 year and 1.5 years respectively. 

Culinary Academy of India, Hyderabad Eligibility for Undergraduate

• All candidates must be at least 17 years of age at the time of commencement of the course.

• All candidates must have passed the 10+2 scheme approved by Osmania University, Hyderabad with a minimum aggregate score of 50% in any stream.

Culinary Academy of India, Hyderabad Eligibility for Postgraduate

• All candidates applying for the PGDCA must be a holder of any one of the following certificates from any university recognized by Osmania University, Hyderabad:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Hotel/Hospitality (with a minimum of two years in Food Production instruction)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Hotel/Hospitality/Tourism streams (with a minimum of two years in Food Production instruction)

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel Management

• Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hospitality Management

• Bachelor of Arts Degree in Culinary Arts

Culinary Academy of India, Hyderabad (CAI) Application Process

• Download the application form from the official website of the college

• Fill in all the details asked in the application form 

• Attest the photocopies of all the documents mentioned in the application form such as - 10th and 12th marksheets, graduation certificate (if applicable), and domicile certificate.

• Make a demand draft of the required amount in the name of the admission council of the Culinary Academy of India, Hyderabad (CAI).

You need to submit the duly filled application form to the admission office within the deadline stated by the college. The eligible candidate will be called for an interview and the successful candidate will have to appear for an entrance examination. The successful candidates will be given seats as per the seat intake criteria of the college.
