IHM Kolkata Admission 2023- An autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, IHM Kolkata was established in 1963. It is affiliated to the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). The institute provides admission to the Diploma, B.Sc and M.Sc courses in subjects related to hotel management and administration. IHM Kolkata 2023 admission to the B.Sc course will be granted on the basis of NCHM JEE, a national-level hotel management entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

IHM Kolkata Admission Eligibility Criteria 2023

Aspirants applying for IHM Kolkata admissions must fulfill the eligibility criteria of IHM Kolkata as per their guidelines. Admission is granted on the basis of merit and marks scored in NCHM JEE. IHM Kolkata B.Sc admission and M.Sc admission are done on the basis of NCHMCT JEE, a national-level joint hotel management entrance exam conducted by NTA. This is followed by NCHMCT JEE counselling where seats are allotted to students on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) in the national-level examination.

• A candidate under the general category must not be more than 25 years of age, while for SC/ST candidates there is an age relaxation up to 28 years.

• Candidates must pass in the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects.

• For certificate courses in food and beverage services or food production and patisserie, successful completion of H.S.C. (12th class of 10+2 pattern) or equivalent qualification with English as one of the subjects in the final examinations is required.

IHM Kolkata offers PG Diploma and Diploma courses in various specialisations of hotel management. The final selection for both these courses is merit-based.
