Batch of 2020 | B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering
This college is situated in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The college undoubtedly is really good with one of the best infrastructure. It's appearance draws attention . Hostels are very well maintained with all the basic facilities, and the food provided is also of good quality. The campus is really beautiful with all the blossoming flowers and plants. Gym , dance and music club , canteen, SBI bank along with SBI ATM is also present within the college premises. Now coming to the academics and curriculum , this college stands at a really good position. It comes under BPUT. The faculties here are extremely knowledgeable , experienced , cooperative and student-friendly . I must say that, the faculties of this college are one of the best faculties throughout. But the only place where this college lags behind is PLACEMENTS !! Placements in this college is not upto the mark . Very few renowned companies visit the college during placements , and the rest are very infamous and 'not so good' companies. Even the package isn't upto the mark. The college is working over it . Hope that the future placements would turn out to be better. But other than this , the college is worth it !!! # A Gecian

GEC - Best place for Learning.

Batch of 2017 | B.Tech Electrical Engineering
I joined Gandhi Engineering College in the year 2013 with keeping Electrical Engineering as my branch subject. GEC have their own examination and also you can get the admission by your good score in JEE exams. I took admission via my good JEE score. Initial Impression, the college was no less than as Mansion, it is huge and is spread over a large place and has all the facilities. The faculties are the best and almost all the faculties come highly experienced with most having an experience of minimum 7+ years in teaching. There are various doubt clearing classes which are held and also a shear preparation before the placement season starts off. Though the college comes under BPUT, the teaching pattern is quite advance and there are various exams and sessional conducted. A big emphasis is also given to practical knowledge, as there are various Labs, Sessionals, Study tour for the students.

I am one of the students who complete 4 years of engineering in this college. When I first saw the college infrastructure was very bad at that time means in one building all the courses was done. After that college improves the infrastructure and increase his efforts in the field of extracurricular activities. Teachers are of very kind and always be helpful to reach our goal. The lap is also quite good in my college.

I had a really nice experience studying in GEC. If I had to describe my experience in 3 words then those words are: Balanced, brilliant, Academic-oriented. I got to learn new things, accomplished technical skills, made a lot of long lasting friends, explored new places, participated in many events. It really helped me to come out of my shell and developed confidence in presenting my views.

Nice college, with the best faculty members and the placements are good. Excellent workshops, laboratories and classes. I have learned many thing in this 4 years of my life. Students are also very hard working here. But, the most amazing part of this college is, its campus life. Very good hostels, canteens and social halls. Its really awesome to be here in this campus.
