Eligibility Criteria
Passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Government Polytechnic Pune has a big campus with classrooms, labs, and workshops for different branches. The civil, mechanical, and electrical labs are well equipped, and the library has enough books for diploma studies.

College Infrastructure
GPP is a famous college for diploma courses in Pune. The campus is spacious and well maintained. There are multiple buildings well equipped with laboratories. The classrooms are spacious enough to accommodate considerate number of students. There are 4 computer labs on campus also every department has few computers. The hostels are not that good but okay! Also the campus has a big playground.
