Government Vidarbha Institute of Science and Humanities, Amravati Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Government Vidarbha Institute of Science and Humanities has a hostel facility with 45 rooms with a capacity of 120 students, along with one common hall which is equipped with a TV set. Students are admitted to the hostel at the beginning of the academic year on a merit basis. All the admitted students were supplied with a Cot, a Chair, and a Cupboard. All the rooms have a sufficient number of lamps and fans. A mess facility is available to the students. Both hostels were supplied with an adequate supply of water.

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

Our library has been in a separate building since 1981. The total area of this building is 24,700 sq. ft. Now a day’s library extension building 6,000 Sq.ft. which follows the five fundamental laws of 1) Books are for use 2) Every reader his/her book 3) Every book its reader 4) Save the time of the reader 5) Library is a growing organism, plays a pivotal role in the moral and intellectual growth of the students 

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. All the labs are very well equipped with all the necessary items. 

The Government Vidarbha Institute of Science and Humanities has an auditorium facility for events and seminars that accommodate more than one thousand people.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. The canteen offers hygienic and fresh food for the students.
