Government Vidarbha Institute of Science and Humanities Amaravati admissions are offered for 3 subjects at the UG level, 23 subjects at the PG level, and 20 subjects at the doctoral level. GVISH Amaravati admissions are merit-based. GVISH Amaravati UG admissions in the Autonomous Degree Courses will be based on the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination or its equivalent. 

In case of cancellation of GVISH Amaravati admission to UG and PG courses, there will be no reimbursement of tuition fees. For admissions to PG courses at the Government Vidarbha Institute of Science and Humanities for the Science stream, 60% weightage will be given to the Entrance Test and 40% weightage to the B.Sc. aggregate marks. PhD admission will be done as per SGBAU Ordinance No. 1/2016.
