Gyana Jyothi College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad Admission Process

Gyana Jyothi College of Pharmacy in Hyderabad (GJCP) is a well-established institution aimed at imparting training to its students in various pharmaceutical courses. GJCP Hyderabad has gained a good name for imparting quality education in pharmacy, while GJCP Hyderabad admission process is based on set criteria and conducted duly to select deserving candidates into the programmes.

GJCP Hyderabad admission process follows the academic calendar of other Telangana state universities. Thus, the undergraduate admissions process usually starts after the announcement of TS EAMCET results, which is conducted each year in April-May.

For B.Pharma, one of the eligibility criteria is to pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology as primary subjects. The candidate should have attempted the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). For M.Pharma programmes, the candidate should be a graduate in B.Pharma from any recognised university. For selection, the admission would be based on GATE or TS PGECET scores followed by counseling.

These two entrance exams are very much considered for selection of GJCP:

  • TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test): Solely for B.Pharma joint admissions, this exam is conducted normally in the months of April-May with June being the month for result declaration.
  • TS PGECET (Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test): This is the examination given for M.Pharma selection. The exam is primarily held in June and the results announced in July.

GJCP Hyderabad Application Process

The application procedure is different with respect to the programme being pursued at GJCP:

For B.Pharma programme:

  • Appear for the TS EAMCET examination.
  • Qualify in TS EAMCET, having obtained a valid score.
  • Register for centralised counseling conducted by the TSCHE.
  • Choose GJCP and B.Pharma during counseling.
  • After allotment of the seat, report to GJCP for document verification and completion of the admission process.

For M.Pharma programmes:

  • Appear for GATE or TS PGECET examination. 
  • Qualifying in the relevant entrance examination with a valid score. 
  • Registering for centralised counseling for PG admissions in Telangana. 
  • Choosing GJCP and the desired M.Pharma specialisation in counseling. 
  • Reporting to GJCP for document verification and completing the admission process if a seat is allotted.

GJCP Hyderabad Degree Wise Admission Process

GJCP Hyderabad Degree admission process is based on merit of entrance examination.

GJCP Hyderabad B.Pharma Admission Process

The B.Pharma programme is a 4 year course with a capacity of approved 100 students for admission into Gyan Jyothi College of Pharmacy. GJCP Hyderabad Degree admission process is on the basis of TS EAMCET merit. Candidates should have qualified the TS EAMCET examination, which was conducted under Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education, Hyderabad. 

GJCP Hyderabad M.Pharma Admission Process

Several specialisations of M.Pharma offered by GJCP each are of two years duration. GJCP Hyderabad admission process for all M.Pharma courses is similar. The candidate must be GATE qualified or appear for the TS PGECET examination. The following 

M.Pharma specialisations are being offered by GJCPS:

Eligible candidates with GATE/TS PGECET are going to be considered for admission in all M.Pharma programmes.

GJCP Hyderabad Documents Required

  • TS EAMCET/GATE/TS PGECET score card.
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates.
  • B.Pharma degree certificate and mark sheets (M.Pharma applicants).
  • Transfer certificate.
  • Migration certificate (if applicable).
  • Caste certificate (if applicable).
  • Passport-size photographs of recent origin.

As part of the admission process at GJCP Hyderabad, candidates are required to submit their original documents for verification.
