24 MonthsManagement of Business Finance (MBF) is a 2-year full-time regular postgraduate program developed at the MBA of international standards.
MBF - Highly specialized program in financial economics. The program has 18 out of 36 papers with a core finance focus. Other courses include courses on Economics, General Management, OB, Accounting, HRM, Business Laws, Marketing, QT, OR, Econometrics, IT, Taxation, business ethics, general studies, etc. It is the only program in finance in the country with curricula at par with MBAs of international standards, based on international experience and the needs of Indian industry.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduation in any discipline from an Indian or a Foreign recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks [45% marks for SC/ST/OBC/Work Experience of 5 years].
- Candidates appearing in the final year Bachelor's examination are eligible to apply. Such Candidates, if selected, will be given provisional admission subject to their clearing graduation. The certification of the same has to be submitted before the 1st Semester exams.
Admission Details
- The admission to regular program is through written tests (CAT / XAT / AIMAT / C-MAT (AICTE) / GMAT/GRE (USA)) and Interviews. Candidates who qualify for the written test are called for an Interview.
- Exemption from Written Test: Graduation / Post Graduation marks [> 75 %] for Engineering / Technical / Science streams & [> 65 %] for Commerce and Arts streams); NRIs, Top three University Toppers, First College Topper & Celebrities in Sports, Arts, Music, Dance & Modelling, etc. Candidates exempted from the written tests are required to take Interviews.
- NRI/Foreign/Corporate sponsored candidates are exempt from the written test. However, all such candidates are required to appear for an interview.
