Amity University, Noida Law Admissions 2025
Apply700+ Campus placements at top national and global law firms, corporates and judiciaries
Hello aspirant,
ILS Law College is one of the most popular law college in India. Candidates seeking admission in the college for law have to clear MHCET Law Cut Off in order to get admissions in the college. If a candidate can score around 100 marks in MHCET Law then there is a good chance for getting admission in the college. Since you haven't mentioned that you belong to some category. Therefore I'll like to tell you that the previous year cut off for general 3 year and 5 year law course was 90 and 87 respectively.
So scoring a 100 in mhcet will be good for you..
All the best
Hello Vishakha Chauhan.
Congratulations for your rank. According to previous year trends you might get the seat. The chances of getting the seat is fair. Since cutoff chances every year, depending on the paper difficulty level, no of students appearing for the exam and counselling, no of seats present and the demand of the seat or colege, the cutoffs vary every year. So apply for the further counselling and wait. Try your luck as it all depends on your luck now.
Hope it helps you.
as u have alloted pravin gandhi .. so will u report there or not for seat acceptance.? I'm asking bcoz i've alloted the same. n i'm soo confused
Hello,
To get admission in ILS the assumption of expected score is some where around 124 and above. Because ILS is ranked 2 in MHCET and the cut off for it is high especially for the generally Category as no of seats are less for general category candidates.
This assumption is based on previous years cut off trends and for the rest we should wait till list are out.
I hope this helps you with your question and if you have any more questions please drop a comment below.
Thank you and best of luck.

Dear Aspirant
First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance that you scored such a nice rank(of general category) and considering the fact that you belong to general category I think you will definitely get admission in ils law college pune, as per previous years cut off and trend, you are on the safer side.
Good luck for your future :)
Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.
Hello,
The eligiblity for getting ILS Pune is that the student should have 45% marks in other castes and 40% marks in SC/ST category. The selection for the college is on the basis of merit.Being from Maharashtra or outside Maharashtra does not effect the selection, this rank will make the possibility of admission less.
Good luck
Thank you
Hey Bhavika.
No, Indian Law Society, Pune does not take admission through CLAT. CLAT is an entrance test for admission in 5 year integrated law course in National Law Universities only in India. Though some private Law colleges accept CLAT scores too.
Admission in ILS, Pune is done on the basis of another Entrance test- MHCET Law. This is the only mode of admission here and you'll have to take this entrance for admission in this college. They offer 2 kinds of courses- both 5 year law and 3 year law. Admission to both courses through their own entrances MHCET. Admission to many other law colleges in Maharashtra is also done through this.
Best of luck

The college campus is large enough with cleanliness. We have all the resources and infrastructure inside the college. Our classrooms are decent, library is with resources and updated labs. We have canteen as well.
ILS Law College, Pune, is one of India's premier law schools, known for its rich heritage and academic excellence. Established in 1924, it offers undergraduate (LL.B.) and postgraduate (LL.M.) programs. The college is known for its experienced faculty, extensive library, and strong focus on legal research. Students benefit from various extracurricular activities, including moot courts, debates, and internships, which enhance their practical legal skills. The campus has a diverse student body and an active placement cell. However, some students feel that infrastructure and administrative processes could be improved.
The infrastructure of the college is good. There is a freee wifi in all the area including canteen. The classrooms are good but there is no air conditioning facility. In moot court hall, there is AC, and also in the library. In this law college there is big air conditioned library with a huge collection of books which is open for 8am to 5pm.
