Institute of Integrated and Honors Studies: For all its programs, IIHS follows a merit-based admission process; befitted students of all shades can now go ahead and study the field they love from the new population of courses brought forth by all under-graduate as well as integrated courses which cover a wide array of disciplines. Kurukshetra University, to which IIHS is 'affiliated', adopts this cycle with reference to admissions. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc Programs: Then, IIHS provides a different number of combinations of subjects among the B.Sc programs which include Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics; Botany, Zoology and Chemistry; Biochemistry, Botany and Zoology; and several others. Admission in these programs is on the basis of merit of qualifying examination (10+2).

B.Com: Admission for B.Com is purely on the basis of merit as determined by the marks in the 10+2 examination taken. Commerce people may have an advantage, but the program is open to all streams.

BCA: For the Bachelor of Computer Applications course, admission is based on merit of the qualifying examination. Students who come from the background of mathematics or computer science in their 10+2 might have an edge.

BA Programs: IIHS offers BA programs with different specializations, namely Economics Honours, Sanskrit Honours, Philosophy Honours, and English Honours. Admittance is based on the merit of qualifying examination result.

Integrated M.Sc Programs: This institute actually offers 5 integrated M.Sc programs: Biotechnology, Economics and Engineering Physics. Admission to these programs follows a tougher process than other admission procedures since these programs span a longer duration of time coupled with the advanced quality of the curriculum. Admission is based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

BTM (Bachelor of Tourism Management): This vocational course too follows a merit-based admission process considering the scores obtained in the examination of 10+2.
