IRTT Erode Admission Process 2021
Institute of Road and Transport Technology offers seats under government quota and management quota. The detailed procedure is mentioned below:
Candidates have to register and apply online on the website of Anna University.
Admission will be offered based on the merit of the marks in the qualifying exam.
Candidates need to register and apply for TNEA Counselling conducted by Anna University and participate in the TNEA single window counselling.
Based on participation in TNEA counselling, document verification and fee payment, candidates will be offered admission.
Management Quota Seats
Candidates have to apply online on the website of Consortium of Self-Financing Colleges.
Admission will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination.
Based on the merit of the qualifying examination, candidates will be shortlisted.
Shortlisted candidates have to participate in the institute level counselling process.
Final admission will be offered on the basis of merit, document verification and fee payment.
Post Graduate Programmes
Candidate has to apply and appear for TANCET.
Based on the scores of TANCET, candidates have to participate in the TANCET counselling process conducted by Anna University.
Final admission will be based on merit, participation in the TANCET counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
IRTT Erode View Course Specific Admission Process 2021
As per TNEA, 65% of admission for govt. quota admission is done and 35% of students are admitted under management counselling. A mere pass in HSC or its equivalent with the minimum average percentage in the relevant subjects or A pass in any one of the HSC (Vocational Stream) prescribed for B.E Degree admissions or any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education and Training / Higher Secondary Board of Tamilnadu / Anna University for Engineering Admissions.
Qualifying Examinations Marks (Maths - 100 marks, Physics + Chemistry- 100 marks) Total - 200 marks Cut off marks = 200 marks.
Minimum Level of Acceptance:-
For SC/ST Candidates, a mere pass in the qualifying examination. The minimum marks are same as the passing minimum for HSC of State of Tamilnadu. Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have obtained the following minimum average percentage
