Academics
The academic environment of the college is generally good and provides students with the opportunity to learn and develop their knowledge. The teachers are qualified and try to guide students in their studies. The curriculum followed by the college is relevant and helps students understand the basic concepts of their subjects. Overall, the academic level of the college is satisfactory and students can gain useful knowledge during their course.
However, there are some areas that need improvement, especially in the BA department. In this department, classes are not always conducted regularly, which sometimes affects the learning process of students. Regular classes are very important for proper understanding of subjects, and irregular schedules can create difficulties for students while preparing for exams.
Since I belong to the BA department, my experience is mainly based on this department, and I am not fully aware of the situation in other departments of the college. The academic environment in other departments may be different.
In conclusion, the academic level of the college is good, but ensuring that classes run regularly, especially in the BA department, would greatly improve the overall academic experience of the students.
College Infra
The infrastructure of the college is decent but there is still room for improvement. The campus provides the basic facilities required for students to study and learn in a comfortable environment. The classrooms are spacious and functional, but most of them follow an old design. Because of this, the classrooms sometimes feel outdated and could benefit from renovation and modernization. Updating the design of the classrooms with better seating arrangements, proper lighting, and improved ventilation would make the learning environment more engaging and comfortable for students.
The college also has a central library, which is a valuable resource for students. It provides access to a variety of books and study materials that help students in their academic preparation. Many students use the library to study in a quiet and focused environment, which supports their learning outside the classroom.
Overall, the infrastructure of the college is satisfactory, but certain areas need attention. Renovating the old classrooms and improving the overall design of the campus would greatly enhance the student experience. With some modernization and better maintenance, the infrastructure can become much more attractive and supportive for students’ academic growth.
Placements
The placement opportunities in the college are average but still provide a good starting point for students who want to begin their careers after graduation. The college invites some companies to conduct placement drives for students. In particular, a few banking companies have visited the campus for recruitment.
These companies usually follow a step-by-step hiring process. First, they offer internship opportunities to selected students. During the internship period, students get the chance to learn about the working environment, improve their professional skills, and gain practical experience in the banking sector. This experience helps students understand how the corporate world works and prepares them for future job roles.
After successfully completing the internship and performing well, some students are offered full-time job opportunities by the company. This process helps companies evaluate the skills, dedication, and performance of students before hiring them permanently.
Although the number of companies visiting the campus is limited, the presence of banking companies still creates opportunities for students who are interested in building a career in this field. Overall, the placement system of the college is developing, and with more companies visiting the campus in the future, it can become even better for upcoming students.

Classes not running properly in my department
College Infra
I completed my graduation from Jagatpur PG College. Overall, my experience at the college was good and it played an important role in shaping my academic journey. The faculty members were supportive and knowledgeable, and they always encouraged students to focus on their studies and personal development. The environment of the college was friendly, and I was able to learn many valuable lessons both inside and outside the classroom.
However, there is definitely a need for improvement in the infrastructure of the college. Some of the buildings and classrooms require renovation and better maintenance. Modern facilities such as smart classrooms, upgraded laboratories, and improved seating arrangements would enhance the learning experience for students. Cleanliness and campus management can also be improved to create a more comfortable academic environment.
The college does provide a library facility, which is a positive aspect. The library has a decent collection of academic books that help students in their studies. However, the library can be further developed by adding more updated books, journals, and digital resources. Introducing computer access and e-learning materials in the library would greatly benefit students.
With improvements in infrastructure and facilities, Jagatpur PG College has the potential to provide an even better educational experience in the future.

Academics
The faculty here is qualified, approachable, and genuinely interested in helping students grow. The BCA course curriculum is solid, and through its a bit challenging, it's also very helpful if yor are planning to go into higher studies or IT roles.
College Infra
The hostel are well-maintained and safe, and ragging is almost unheard of here, which gives a sense of security. The only downside is the distance between the hostel and tech campus, which can be tiring sometimes. Life in the hostel is full of small joys, studies, chai breaks that turns into lasting memories.
Placements
At Jagatpur College, the placement scene is quite hopeful for those who actively participate. Many students who applied got placed, which is quite encouraging. Big names like Accenture have shown up for recruitment, and that gives us a lot of confidence.
