JB Institute of Technology and Management, Gwalior Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

The JB Institute of Technology and Management (JBITM), located in Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, as an affiliated college. The institute offers a wide range of courses: 14 courses across 7 programs and degrees, covering various fields of Computer Applications, Commerce, Sciences, and Arts.  The overall performance in qualifying examinations is said to be the main consideration for the institute during the admission process. 

Most bachelor degree courses and a few postgraduate degree courses are conducted at JBITM. The intake of various courses varies. There are some general steps regarding the application process followed by the JB Institute of Technology and Management, Gwalior:

Degree wise Admission Process

PGDCA: The JBITM program for Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application has a maximum intake potential of 240 students. According to what could be guessed academic performance in qualifying examination was probably the basis of admission, though nothing appeared in regard to admission criteria in whichever way.

B.Sc. Programs: Several B.Sc. programs are offered at JBITM with very large enrollment numbers:

• B.Sc. Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology – 180 seats
• B.Sc. Microbiology, Chemistry, and Biotechnology - 180 seats
• B.Sc. Computer Science- (TBD)

Generally, admittance is based on the 10+2 results in relevant science subjects.

B.Com. Programs:

• B.Com. Computer Applications - 120 seats
• B.Com.- 120 seats

Entitled to admission based on 10+2 results, it is likely that pure commerce is emphasized.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): This program has an intake of 30 students. Admission criteria may include 10+2 results with an emphasis on Mathematics and Computer Science.

BA Programs:BA in History, Political Science and Sociology-60

As for the rest, admission is generally based on the 10+2 performance in Arts or other relevant subjects. 

M.Sc. Programs: Many M.Sc. programs are offered by JBITM, with an intake of 15-20 students:

• M.Sc. Computer Science: 20 seats
• M.Sc. Biotechnology: 15 seats
• M.Sc. Chemistry: 15 seats
• M.Sc. Botany: 15 seats
• M.Sc. Microbiology: 15 seats

Generally, a degree in a relevant area is required for admission to those, and there could be entrance tests or merit-based selection. 

M.Com.: This Master of Commerce program allows admission for 20 students. Generally, a B.Com. or equivalent is required for entry.
